GRANITE [top]

Functional as well as elegant Granite is formed from once molten magma. It composed mainly of Quartz and Felspar and provides strength & prestige to any stone application. Extremely hard wearing, it is not easily marked or damaged and therefore makes an ideal choice for kitchen work surfaces.

MARBLE [top]

Marble is recrystallised limestone and has been prized by builders for thousands of years. Available in an extensive range of patterns, colours and veining, its appearance is often enhanced by a polished finish.

TECHNICAL AGGREGATE [top]

Concrete worktops have been developed specifically for kitchens. Silky smooth, waterproof, stain resistant, heat resistant, lighter weight than solid stone or standard concrete and with a natural look and feel. They are not resin and stone composites.

They are available in a range of coordinated colours that span the natural greys of concrete as well as whites, blacks and browns and several other colours. All the surfaces have the randomness of mixed natural fine silica sands in their look. Being anti-microbial they just wipe clean. They are tough and robust.

STAINLESS STEEL [top]

Not only does stainless steel create a beautiful looking worktop but it also offers a totally hygienic surface which is the reason why it is standard to commercial kitchens where hygiene is paramount.

PYROLAVE [top]

Glazed lava stone is a natural volcanic stone extracted from the flows at Volvic in France.
Its surface is refined & coated with an enamel glaze that is kiln fired. It is indefinable in that it is not a marble or granite or a ceramic tile, but both of these process combined which results in the glazed lava stone.

The glazing & firing cycles produce a crackle or crazed effect. The natural lavastone support for the glaze is flat with minimal surface texture. These are inherent features of the product.

Typically the glaze registers 7 on a matt to glossy scale. Any colour of glaze is possible whilst the matt finishes are subject to glaze testing & availability.
